Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mobile games and any related services (each a "Service," together the "Services") operated by Bauman Games LLC ("Bauman Games," "we," or "us"). By installing, accessing, or using any of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Which Apps These Terms Cover

These Terms cover the following Bauman Games apps. Several sections below describe features that exist only in some Services — read the section that applies to the Service you use.

2.1 Chimera TCG ("Chimera")

Chimera is an online collectible card game with accounts, in-app purchases, a player-to-player marketplace, random-outcome features, and AI-generated card content. All sections of these Terms apply to your use of Chimera.

2.2 Good Melon, Bad Melon

Good Melon, Bad Melon is a single-player, offline reaction game with no accounts, no in-app purchases, no marketplace, no random-outcome paid features, and no runtime AI-generated content. (AI tools may have been used during development to assist with assets, code, or design; the distinction Section 7 below describes is about content produced by AI while you play, which Good Melon does not do.) Accordingly, the following sections do not apply to your use of Good Melon: Section 4 (Your Account), Section 5 (Virtual Items and In-App Purchases), Section 6 (Random Outcomes), Section 7 (AI-Generated Content), Section 8 (Marketplace), and the Chimera-specific portions of Section 9 (Acceptable Use) and Section 11 (Modification of Game Content). The remaining sections — including eligibility, intellectual property, termination, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and governing law — apply to all Bauman Games apps, including Good Melon.

2.3 Mech Tide

Mech Tide is a single-player, browser-based tower-defense game with no accounts, no in-app purchases, no marketplace, no random-outcome paid features, and no runtime AI-generated content. (AI tools may have been used during development to assist with assets, code, or design; the distinction Section 7 below describes is about content produced by AI while you play, which Mech Tide does not do.) Game progress is saved only in the player's own browser or device storage. Accordingly, the following sections do not apply to your use of Mech Tide: Section 4 (Your Account), Section 5 (Virtual Items and In-App Purchases), Section 6 (Random Outcomes), Section 7 (AI-Generated Content), Section 8 (Marketplace), and the Chimera-specific portions of Section 9 (Acceptable Use) and Section 11 (Modification of Game Content). The remaining sections — including eligibility, intellectual property, termination, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and governing law — apply to all Bauman Games apps, including Mech Tide.

2.4 Voltaic

Voltaic is a single-player slide-to-connect puzzle game with no accounts, no marketplace, no random-outcome paid features, and no runtime AI-generated content. (AI tools may have been used during development to assist with assets, code, or design; the distinction Section 7 below describes is about content produced by AI while you play, which Voltaic does not do.) Game progress is saved only in the player's own browser or device storage.

Voltaic offers optional in-app purchases — a Tip Jar and cosmetic "Patron" items — so Section 5 (Virtual Items and In-App Purchases) applies to your use of Voltaic; its cosmetic items are Virtual Items under that section, and purchases are processed by the platform store. The following sections do not apply to Voltaic: Section 4 (Your Account), Section 6 (Random Outcomes — Voltaic has no random-outcome paid features), Section 7 (AI-Generated Content), Section 8 (Marketplace), and the Chimera-specific portions of Section 9 (Acceptable Use) and Section 11 (Modification of Game Content). The remaining sections — including eligibility, intellectual property, termination, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and governing law — apply to all Bauman Games apps, including Voltaic.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

4. Your Account

Chimera creates an account when you first sign in. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

You may delete your Chimera account at any time through the Profile settings screen within the app. Upon deletion, your account data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Virtual Items and In-App Purchases

The Service includes virtual currencies (such as Coins and Gems), virtual cards, and other digital items (together, "Virtual Items"). Virtual Items have no monetary value, are non-transferable outside the Service, and are not redeemable for cash or other goods.

In-app purchases are processed by the platform store (Apple App Store or Google Play). All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or by the platform store's refund policy.

Any credits or in-game currencies purchased via in-app purchase do not expire.

6. Random Outcomes ("Loot Boxes")

Certain paid features of the Service involve random outcomes (such as card packs and splice results). The probability of receiving each type of item is disclosed within the Service prior to purchase, in compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play policies.

Random outcomes are determined by our servers using cryptographically secure random number generation and are not manipulated based on a player's spending history.

7. AI-Generated Content

Some game features produce cards whose name, description, and artwork are generated by an artificial-intelligence system. By using these features, you acknowledge that:

• The resulting content is generated programmatically.
• The Service applies automated and, where appropriate, manual moderation to such content before it appears in the game.
• AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected or imperfect results.

If you encounter content that you believe violates these Terms or platform-store policies, you may report it through the in-app reporting flow or by emailing support@baumangames.com.

8. Marketplace

The Service includes a player-to-player marketplace where players may list and acquire cards in exchange for in-game Coins. A transaction fee, denominated in in-game Coins (not real currency), is deducted from the sale price. The fee schedule is disclosed within the Service.

We may remove listings, suspend marketplace privileges, or reverse transactions to enforce these Terms or to protect the integrity of the Service.

Marketplace transactions involve Virtual Items only and do not constitute real-money transactions between players.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Service or its protocols.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service.
• Attempt to manipulate matchmaking, leaderboards, battle ratings, or random outcomes.
• Buy, sell, or transfer accounts or Virtual Items outside the in-app marketplace.
• Use the Service to harass other players or to create unlawful or harmful content.
• Exploit bugs or unintended game mechanics for unfair advantage; instead, report them to us.
• Attempt to submit false match results or tamper with client-server communication.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and its contents — including card artwork, game design, text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by or licensed to Bauman Games LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

AI-generated card content (names, descriptions, artwork) created through the Service is owned by Bauman Games LLC. Players do not acquire intellectual property rights in AI-generated content by creating or collecting cards.

11. Modification of Game Content

We reserve the right to modify, rebalance, or remove any game content at any time, including but not limited to cards, card art, chimera results, variants, virtual currencies, and gameplay mechanics. In rare cases, this may include removing specific cards from the game and from player collections — for example, if content is found to violate our policies, applicable law, or platform-store requirements. We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected players of significant changes.

Virtual Items, including cards and chimeras, are licensed to you as part of the Service and are not your property. This Section does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to any Service if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct we reasonably believe to be unlawful or harmful. You may stop using any Service at any time. If you have a Chimera account, you may delete it through the Profile settings screen within the app.

Upon termination, your license to use the affected Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 10, 11, 13, and 15) will do so.

13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

We are not liable for any loss of Virtual Items, account data, or game progress caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to server failures, platform-store changes, or force majeure events.

14. Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first at support@baumangames.com to resolve any disputes informally.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
