1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Chimera mobile game and any related services (together, the "Service") operated by Bauman Games LLC ("Bauman Studios," "we," or "us"). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your account

The Service may create an anonymous account on your device on first launch. If we later offer linked sign-in options, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Virtual items and in-app purchases

The Service includes virtual currencies (such as Coins and Gems), virtual cards, and other digital items (together, "Virtual Items"). Virtual Items have no monetary value, are non-transferable outside the Service, and are not redeemable for cash or other goods.

In-app purchases are processed by the platform store (Apple App Store or, in the future, Google Play). All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or by the platform store's refund policy.

5. Random outcomes ("loot boxes")

Certain paid features of the Service rely on random outcomes. The probability disclosures for each such feature are made available within the Service prior to purchase and are intended to comply with applicable platform-store requirements. Random outcomes are determined by our servers, are cryptographically-random where indicated, and are not manipulated based on a player's spending history.

6. User-generated content and AI-generated content

Some game features allow you to combine cards in ways that produce a new card whose name, description, and artwork are generated by an artificial-intelligence system. By using these features, you acknowledge that the resulting card is generated programmatically and that the Service applies automated moderation to such content before it appears in the game.

If you encounter content that you believe violates these Terms or platform-store policies, you may report it through the in-app reporting flow or by emailing support@baumangames.com.

7. Marketplace

The Service includes a player-to-player marketplace where players may list and acquire cards in exchange for in-game Coins. We retain a transaction fee, disclosed at the time of listing. We may remove listings, suspend accounts, or reverse transactions to enforce these Terms or to protect the integrity of the Service.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Service or its protocols.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service.
Attempt to manipulate matchmaking, leaderboards, or random outcomes.
Buy, sell, or transfer accounts or Virtual Items outside the in-app marketplace.
Use the Service to harass other players or to create unlawful or harmful content.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct we reasonably believe to be unlawful or harmful. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. Our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
